David Jennings interpreting a

Mr. David Jennings is an accomplished performer who has been visiting elementary, middle and high schools for over 15 years. David has developed a teaching style that children of all ages as well as adults quickly respond to and appreciate. His military background and knowledge of battles, tactics and the weaponry of three centuries adds an essential element to our programs. His collection of reproduction weaponry is extensive and brings a three dimensional aspect to historical interpretations. |
He is President of the Lafayette Durfee House Museum, Fall River, Massachusetts, President of the Berkley Historical Society and a member of the following living history organizations; Brigade of the American Revolution, Harmon's Snowshoe Company, Benjamin Church's Company, and the 28th Massachusetts Volunteers. David has been a cast member of the WGBH Boston series "Making of America" and WGBH Boston series John and Abigail Adams". David portraying an early settler to the Plymouth Bay colony c1627. |

Hallie Larkin had been re-enacting and creating costumes for over 12 years starting with the American Civil War then retreating further back in time until finally reaching the 17th century. Hallie has specialized in recreating museum quality 18th century costumes and has recently started her own business "At the Sign of the Golden Scissors", traveling to 18th century events in the New England, Middle and Southern colonies. |
She is a member of Costume Society of American and is currently serving on the Costume Society of America Region 1 Board and planning a symposium with Plimouth Plantation for Spring 2009. Hallie is a founding member of the "Ladies of Refined Taste", a group of highly motivated women who have been hosting a series of workshops and lectures known as "The Hive" held at the Minute Man National Park in Lexington, Massachusetts. |
