| Accurate
representations of historical costumes are vital for living
history presentations, historical re-enactments and
interpretive museum programs. We strive to make our 17th,
18th and 19th Century costumes reflect the highest levels of
authenticity. Fabrics and sewing techniques appropriate to
the time period of each costume are incorporated into the
design and execution of every project.

The
Costume Gallery
presents a Gentleman's c 1760s Banyan, interpreted from the
silk Banyan in the collection of Historic Deerfield,
as well as two Sacque Back Gowns, an 18th Century Wool
Cloak, a Copper Silk Gown c 1770s, and a New England Crewel
Petticoat. Numerous accessories, including a Green
Silk Calash, and a reproduction of the Boston Museum of Fine
Art's 18th Century Feather Hat are included in the
Costume Gallery.
The
Costume Workshops page
features programs that are available for groups or
individuals in the New England area. Group
Programs can be custom designed to fit the needs of the
participants.
